Hey, I’m Jules - the hands and heart behind Potluck Pottery.

My journey started in the culinary world, which naturally shaped my obsession with objects that bring people together. Food and pottery share the same soul: they are about connection, comfort, and the beauty of creation from scratch. I’ve always been captivated by origin stories—understanding where materials come from, how objects are crafted, and how the ancient history of clay connects us across generations.

I thrive on every stage of the process, the fascination of glaze science, to drawing inspiration from raw, textured landscapes. I believe that the right piece of pottery doesn't just hold a meal, rather it elevates how food looks, feels, and tastes.

After graduating from the ceramics program at the Haliburton School of Art and Design in 2025, I created Potluck Pottery to blend these passions into functional art. Every piece is crafted with intention, designed to highlight the rituals of sharing food and drink. My hope is that these ceramics find a place at your table, becoming a quiet backdrop to your favorite meals and most cherished memories.
