Since the early 1800s, Guelph has grown from a forested frontier settlement into the vibrant Royal City we call home today. As we approach our 200th anniversary, we’re reminded of the deep history that shaped us, from the arrival of early railways and legendary breweries to hidden tunnels and John McCrae’s immortal poetry.
